A brochure site and a busy application want different things. Static sites go on a CDN where they load fast and cost next to nothing; heavier apps run on AWS — Lambda, managed databases, queues — sized to real usage rather than a guess.
Deploys that don't take the site down
A proper pipeline: changes land on a staging copy first, run their tests, then ship to live in one step. When something's wrong you roll back to the last good version instead of scrambling to undo it by hand.
Holding up when traffic spikes
Serverless scales with demand, so a sale, a campaign or an unexpected mention doesn't knock the site over. You're also not paying for idle capacity the rest of the year, when most of the servers would sit doing nothing.
Backups, certificates and monitoring
SSL kept valid so browsers don't flag the site, backups you can actually restore from, and alerts that reach us when something breaks — ideally before a customer is the one who has to tell you.

The site crawls whenever it gets busy. A minor change means an evening of downtime nobody warned you about. The bill keeps climbing and no one can say which part is eating the money. Moving an existing site across without the drama
If you already have a site hosted elsewhere, we can move it. That means lining up DNS, keeping your email working, putting redirects in place so links and search rankings survive, and timing the switch so there's no stretch where the site is unreachable. You shouldn't lose a morning of enquiries because the hosting changed hands.
